Greece’s summer sales will kick off all around the country today (Monday, July 13) and will continue through to Monday, August 31, allowing locals and (the lucky) tourists to pick up some great bargains, greekcitytimes.com reports.
The Athens Trade Association has also stated that retailers have the option to trade on Sunday, July 19, with the proposed opening hours being 11:00-18:00.
“Athens and the regional markets are ready to welcome consumers in compliance with all health rules, offering all kinds of products at very attractive prices,” the Athens Chamber of Commerce announced.
It is mandatory for businesses to indicate two prices, i.e. the old and the new price of all items sold at a discount.
