The Ministry of Culture’s Museum Council on Monday unanimously accepted the Jewish Museum of Greece’s request for the granting of its certification mark, ANA reports.
Culture Minister Lina Mendoni noted that the Jewish Museum in Athens is a historic memorial site, “not only for Greek Jewish survivors and heroes of the Holocaust but for the citizens of the entire world, who must preserve, in their historical memory, the horrible mistakes that tarnished human history.”
