The Hellenic Wrestling Federation has announced a tender for the provision of travel agency services for one year to meet its needs, through an open procedure via the National Electronic Public Procurement System, with an estimated value of 209,000 including VAT.
As a sports federation, the Hellenic Wrestling Federation frequently participates in national and international sports events and championships. The purpose of the contract is to provide travel agency services to optimally meet the transportation needs of the Federations members and delegations (athletes, escorts, etc.) during their participation in these events.
For the transportation of the Federations staff and collaborators, both in Greece and abroad, the contractor is required to meet a series of conditions. For example, this includes securing seats for air travel within and outside Greece, as well as seats for road or ferry transport within Greece, with companies that operate regular routes to the requested domestic and international destinations, offering the lowest economy fare and availability on the day of ticket issuance.
The contractor will be notified at least three days before the scheduled departure. However, they must also be able to cover emergency transportation needs of the Federation. In addition, the contractor will not make any bookings with carriers without written approval from the responsible Federation employee. Ticket bookings must be completed no later than one working day from the day the contractor is notified.
Ticket orders will be made in batches, in quantities and frequency that meet the Federations needs. On-site airport support with a representative will be provided.
In addition, hotel booking services will be provided for domestic or international stays, regardless of the number of rooms, as well as car rental and other transportation services, domestically or abroad, regardless of rental duration.
Furthermore, services will include issuing, printing, and sending (physically or electronically) tickets, vouchers, and online hotel check-ins, along with necessary and useful information for travelers about their destinations, such as travel guidance, visas, security procedures, restrictions, currency regulations, health guidelines, etc.
The contractor will also promptly notify travelers of delays or cancellations, as well as any other changes that may affect or require special preparation, while providing written information on alternative routes if available, ensuring selection of the most economical fares and shortest travel options.
The contract covers the provision of travel agency services (issuance of ferry, road, rail, and airline tickets for domestic and international travel, rental of transport vehicles, hotel bookings) for the needs of the Hellenic Wrestling Federation (EL.OP.) for 12 months.
