Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis expressed deep satisfaction over the resilience shown by the Greek economy, as reflected in the Independent Statistical Authority’s figures for the Greek GDP rate in 2020, in a tweet on Friday, ANA reports.
Specifically, the prime minister noted “despite the major dependence on tourism, the GDP figures released today show that the Greek Economy showed higher resilience than many expected in 2020. Along with the management of the pandemic crisis we are dismantling stereotypes. Greece is on the path of success and it will succeed.”
