Greek state budget records primary deficit of €9.077 billion in January-July 2021

The state budget for the period January-July 2021 presented a primary deficit of 9.077 billion euros, compared to a target for a primary deficit of 9.602 billion euros, ANA reports.

According to the provisional data on a modified cash basis, for the period January – July 2021, there is a deficit in the state budget balance of 12,528 million euros against a target for a deficit of 12,946 million euros according to the 2022-2025 Medium-Term Fiscal Strategy Framework (MTFSF) explanatory report and a deficit of 10,915 million euros in the corresponding period of 2020.
