Greek President Katerina Sakellaropoulou thanked 23 foreign leaders on Monday for their contribution in staff and equipment, including aircraft, to battling the multiple and devastating wildfires that broke out in Greece since August 3, ANA reports.
The countries the president thanked were as follows:
Austria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Egypt, France, Germany, Israel, Kuwait, Moldavia, Poland, Qatar, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, and the United States.
