Agriculture Minister: No problems with Greek food supply due to war in Ukraine

There will be no problems as regards the adequacy of the food supply in Greece as a result of the war in Ukraine, Rural Development and Food Minister Giorgos Georgantas said in a press conference on Wednesday regarding training and education in the agricultural sector, ANA reports.
Georgantas noted that the ministry is cooperating with all importers to expand the markets used and cover the 250,000 tonnes of cereals imported from Russia and Ukraine.
He added that the Greek balance of trade in agricultural products has been in surplus for the past two years, adding that this must continue for both exports and food supply adequacy.
