Greek PM announces minimum wage hike to 830 euros per month

Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Friday announced an increase in the minimum wage to 830 euros per month as of April 1, 2024. The prime minister announced during a meeting of the cabinet, ANA reports.
This is the fourth increase in the minimum wage, which is now increasing by another 50 euros since New Democracy became a government in 2019. The increase will also affect allowances and other benefits.
