The Bank of Greece records approximately one billion euros more travel receipts for Greek tourism in the 11 months of January-November 2024, compared to the corresponding 11 months of 2023.
Specifically, travel receipts amounted to 21.2 billion euros, 999.6 million euros more than the corresponding 11 months of 2023. The percentage increase amounts to 4.9%.
Arrivals of non-resident travelers, moreover, in the period January-November 2024 increased by 9.7%.
In November 2024 alone, travel receipts amounted to 617.9 million euros, compared to 426.9 million euros in November 2023, recording an increase of 44.7% (191 million euros more). Compared to November 2023, in addition, non-resident traveler arrivals increased by 23.6%.
