73% of hotel executives believe AI will have a significant or transformative impact on hospitality, according to a Canary Technologies survey.

Canary Technologies is recognized as the leading provider of hospitality technology solutions for hotels, resorts, and other accommodations. The survey was conducted among 325 hospitality professionals from IT, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Front Desk, HR, and Maintenance departments, representing hotels and hotel groups of all sizes in North America, APAC, and Europe.

Other key findings from the survey:

61% said AI is already impacting the industry or expects to have an impact in the next year.

This prevailing view that AI is on the cusp of widespread adoption in the hospitality industry is driving significant investment. 77% of respondents plan to allocate between 5% and 50% of their IT budgets to AI tools in the coming year.
Beyond industry trends, the research identifies the top AI use cases in hospitality. For hoteliers looking to introduce AI or those needing a practical roadmap for implementation, the report is an essential guide packed with data and actionable insights to help navigate this transformative era in hospitality technology.

According to a recent study by the World Economic Forum, new technologies could eliminate 92 million jobs worldwide by 2030, but at the same time create 170 million new jobs, in another field, as reported by DW.
