Paros | Increase in tourism revenue in 2024- optimism for better performance in 2025

Paros recorded increases in revenue in accommodation and catering both in the whole of last year and in the period of July, August and September. Specifically, according to data published by ELSTAT, during 2024, 565 accommodation businesses received 85,340,218 euros, compared to 80,294,666 in 2023, marking an increase of 6.3%. Correspondingly, for the whole of last year, the 418 catering businesses collected 89,200,847 euros, compared to 88,871,958, with an increase of 0.4%.

Specifically, in the third quarter of the base period (July, August, and September), accommodation revenues amounted to 58,168,971 euros in 2024 compared to 56,701,564 in the same period in 2023, recording an increase of 2.6%.

In a statement, Mayor Konstantinos Bizas stressed that “Paros continues its upward trajectory with increases in both arrivals and revenues, and we hope that this year will also see even better performance thanks to the island’s well-established reputation and the professionalism of those offering their services in the sector, supporting the local economy and development.”
