A 3.5% increase in arrivals and 3.3% in overnight stays was recorded in March 2025, compared to the same month last year, by Hotel Type Accommodation, Camping ,and Short-Term Collective Accommodation (rented rooms).
According to ELSTAT data, in March, arrivals in tourist accommodations amounted to 1,208,535 and overnight stays to 2,728,326.
Specifically, in the month of March 2025, compared to the corresponding month of 2024, an increase of 4.7% in arrivals and 3.7% in overnight stays by foreigners was observed. Correspondingly, for Greeks, an increase in arrivals and overnight stays was observed by 2.7% and 2.9%, respectively.
A greater contribution to arrivals and overnight stays in total accommodations was observed by Greeks with 57.9% and 54.9%, respectively.
The average total overnight stay for the month of March 2025 amounted to 2.3 days.
