Alternate Tourism Minister Elena Kountoura met with the ambassador of the Republic of Korea Ahn Young Jip and discussed the further development of bilateral tourism relations.
For the first time in 2015, the Greek National Tourism Organisation (EOT) participated in the International Tourism Exhibition in Seoul, KOFTA, and as the ambassador informed Ms. Kountoura Greece will also participate in this year’s exhibition in order to promoting Greek tourism in Korea, as a market of great interest.
The two officials also exchanged views on means of cooperation to promote new Greek tourist products in Korea in view of the 2016 tourist season as well as strengthening the flow of tourists from this dynamic Asian market to Greece.
