TUI Group, the world’s leading tourism group, today invited some of its partners in Cyprus to a reception at the Trakasol Cultural Centre in Limassol Marina to present the new TUI Destination Services organisation and thank them for their co-operation over TUI Group’s many years of operations on the island.
TUI Destination Services’ Managing Director, David Schelp, and Regional Director East Mediterranean, Michael Mavropoulos, greeted their business partners in Cyprus, including hoteliers, transport and excursion providers, government officials and embassy representatives, and outlined TUI Group’s overall vision as well its view on the importance of Cyprus as a quality destination for its customers.
Excellent in-resort services
Led by Ian Hay, Head of Cyprus & Malta for TUI Destination Services, the organisation will manage and deliver excellent in-resort services for more than 500,000 TUI and other customers during their stay in Cyprus each year.
TUI Destination Services was recently established in Cyprus when TUI Group’s completed the acquisition of Aeolos Travel’s destination management business in December 2015.
