Greek Tourism Minister Elena Kountoura reiterated that the government places special emphasis on the tourism sector during the inauguration of the international tourism exhibition MITE 2017 organized in Paiania.
“Tourism is a government priority and a driving force for growth and prosperity. We promote Greece as a world-renowned destination 365 days a year, offering complete authentic travel experiences,” Kountoura noted.
At the same time, she argued that a very dynamic and coherent national and regional tourism policy is being implemented, in close cooperation with the 13 regions of the country, with the municipalities, the chambers, the tourism institutions as well as the private sector.
