Greece’s Tourism Minister Elena Kountoura was among the 250 participants at the Women Political Leaders (WPL) Annual Global Summit being held in Reykjavik in Iceland on November 28-30.
Kountoura is the first Greek official to visit Iceland after the former Greek president Karolos Papoulias in 2006. During her visit, on the sidelines of the summit, she met and exchanged views on current political developments with Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite, Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic, Estonian President Kersti Kaljulaid and Maltese President Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca.
