Greek Alternate Economy and Development Minister Alexis Charitsis and US Ambassador to Athens Geoffrey Pyatt attended a dinner within the framework of the Greek Investment Roadshow 2018 organised by the Hellenic American Chamber of Commerce, the Athens Stock Exchange and the Consulate General of Greece on Monday in New York, ANA reports.
On his part, Pyatt expressed the strong support of the Trump government for Greece’s economic recovery.
He reiterated that the “US see Greece as a pillar of stability in the wider region.” The ambassador also referred to the Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF) where the US will be the honoured country. As he said, this is an extremely promising moment for Greek-American relations.
