PMs of Greece and FYROM official candidates for 2019 Nobel Peace prize

Nobel Prize winner for Peace (2015) Wided Bouchamaoui notified by mail FYROM Prime Minister Zoran Zaev that she had formally submitted his and Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras’ names as candidates for the 2019 prize, ANA reports.

Greece and the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia signed the Prespes Agreement in June 2018 to resolve a conflict over the latter country’s name, which is being changed to “Republic of North Macedonia” following ratification by both countries’ parliaments.
