The US Ambassador to Greece Geoffrey Pyatt met with Gianna Angelopoulos-Daskalaki, Chairperson of the ‘Greece 2021′ Committee on Tuesday, greekcitytimes.com reports.
In a tweet, Pyatt noted they had discussed Mrs. Angelopoulos’ recent visit to the US.
They also discussed ways in which the two countries’ shared values, history, and inspiration can be presented during the upcoming 200th anniversary of the Greek War of Independence.
