Greek Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias, will meet with Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ekaterina Zakharieva, today in Athens, int.ert.gr reports.
The visit coincides with the 140 years of Greek-Bulgarian diplomatic relations, stressing the strong ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
Discussions will focus on issues of bilateral political and economic relations, along with issues of European and regional interest, with an emphasis on the European perspective of the Western Balkans, developments in the Eastern Mediterranean, and the course of dealing with the effects of the pandemic, in the middle of the tourist season.
