Government spokesman Stelios Petsas said that the statements of the representative of the Turkish Presidency Ibrahim Kalin on the suspension of maritime seismographic surveys by the ‘Oruc Reis’ vessel “mark a positive step in de-escalating the tension caused by Ankara,” in an interview to Parapolitika newspaper on Saturday, ANA reports.
Referring to the de-escalation of the crisis and the “help of Greece’s allies,” he emphasized that what brings results is the country’s international alliances and its determination to defend its sovereign rights.
