Greek Prime Minister chaired meetings on pandemic and national vaccination plan

Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis chaired a double meeting on the epidemiological situation and the implementation of the National Vaccination Plan that was held οn Thursday at the Maximos Mansion, ANA reports.

According to government sources, the first part of the meeting was devoted to reviewing the epidemiological data and highlighted that there must be no relaxation of the measures while reaffirming the state’s readiness for their strict implementation during the holidays.

The second part of the meeting confirmed that everything is going according to plan regarding the National Vaccination Plan and examined the final details for the rapid roll-out of the first phase, upon the arrival of the first vaccines in Greece. The high percentage of positive responses from healthcare workers regarding the vaccination process was emphasized, with ministers noting that their positive example sends a message for the course of the whole effort at a national level.
