“Ι am very happy that the Greek parliament expressed its huge support to the French weapons system of high technology for the aerial and sea sector. It was an impressive vote of confidence that stands up to the historic friendship that unites our peoples” the French Ambassador to Greece Patrick Maisonnave noted on Wednesday, following Tuesday’s ratification in parliament of the agreements for the acquisition of French armaments by Greece, ANA reports.
“We are proud to contribute to the modernization of the Greek Armed Forces and the strengthening of the interoperability with the French Armed Forces. I am certain that the safety of the two countries, of Europe and of NATO will benefit significantly by the Greek-French strategic partnership relation that we signed in defense and safety” Maisonnave stressed.
