The weather from Wednesday afternoon will deteriorate in western Greece, where rains and thunderstorms will occur, protothema.gr reports.
The phenomena will be locally intense and in some cases may be accompanied by hail.
On the night of Wednesday to Thursday, the rainfall will extend further east, while intense phenomena are expected in the Peloponnese.
On Thursday 17/02, rainfall and thunderstorms will occur mainly in the eastern and northern and in the Aegean, with the most intense phenomena expected in Crete.
Especially for the prefecture of Attica and the city of Athens, local rains will occur late Wednesday night, while at night and until noon on Thursday there will be sporadic thunderstorms, with the possibility of strong local phenomena.
The expected rainfall is Category 2 in terms of the Regional Precipitation Index RPI.
