Business Travel Professionals Forum 2015: 41 hotels and 1,500 meetings

With these words, the head of SWOT | Simple Way Of Tourism George Constantinides, welcomed the participants of the 3rd consecutive Business Travel Professionals Forum (BTPF 2015), organized by SWOT on 10 & 11 December 2015 at the Hotel Metropolitan Athens.

The largest B2B event

Tornos News was a communications sponsor of the two-day forum, which was organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Economy and Development and Tourism, Athens Municipality, Greek National Tourism Organization (EOT), SETE, HAPCO and TURSAB.

The event attracted 41 leading hotel groups from Greece, Serbia and Bulgaria, more than 100 national and international travel agencies, and the corresponding number of commercial companies that use tourism services in Greek destinations.

Over 1500 meetings were held between tourism operators during the two-day proceedings of BTPF, making this event the largest B2B event for the development and promotion of tourism product of our country.

Communicating “face to face”

BTPF gives the opportunity to outside Attica area based hotels to meet, introduce and above all create cooperation opportunities by communicating “face to face” with the key persons of the most important representatives from corporations and various travel companies  (DMC’s, PCO’s, MICE, Business Travel  & Wholesalers) who materialize corporate travels and events in Greece.
