A walk in the Byzantine museum’s gardens in Athens

For one more year, the Byzantine and Christian Museum takes part in the communication action GREEN CULTURAL ROUTES, for the first time its landscaped surroundings to children and their parents. Under the general title “In the Gardens of the Byzantine Museum”, a series of educational actions take place on Sunday 28 May 2017:

I will take to the gardens (For children aged 6-9)

Discover real and symbolic gardens in the museum’s artefacts and surroundings, in an activity which concludes with some actual gardening.

When: 10:00am and 12:00pm

Painting in nature workshop (For children aged 9-12)

Children observe nature and try to portray the museum’s surroundings and their impressions of it.

When: 10:00am and 12:00pm

Meeting the Byzantine Museum Gardens (For children and adolescents from 13 years of age)

A walk in the Gardens highlights points of interest, and connects them to the museum’s permanent exhibition.

When: 12:00pm
