Greece’s Infrastructure and Transport Minister Christos Spirtzis met with State Minister Christoforos Vernardakis and officials from the Macedonia and Thrace Ministry on Tuesday to discuss ways on boosting the green spaces in the northern Greek city, ANA reports.
“The Karatasi and Ziaka military barracks must be handed over to local communities and the city because Thessaloniki is largely lacking green areas and recreational spaces,” announced Vernardakis after the meeting.
