Certain roads in central Athens will close down on Tuesday, July 24, due to events celebrating the 44th Anniversary of the Restoration of Democracy and the ceremony for the lighting and handover of the Olympic Flame for the Summer Youth Olympics “Buenos Aires 2018”.
More specifically, according to the police, parking of vehicles will be prohibited from 6:00 until the end of the events, as well as the gradual stopping of traffic from 12.00 on the following streets of the Municipality of Athens:
- – Irodou Attikou
- – Vas. Georgiou II, in the section between Irodou Attikou and Rigillis.
- – Meleagrou, Minmermou, Isiodou, Aravantinou Karaiskaki Square and Vas. Olga (no parking or stopping)
