EPP conference in Athens to announce employment plan for youth

The European People’s Party (EPP) will meet in Athens on February 7 and 8 to discuss young people’s unemployment and how to create more opportunities for work, it said in a statement on Tuesday, according to ANA.

The European Parliament group announced in a statement its goal was to create 5 million new openings in the near future. EPP Group head Manfred Weber will introduce the plan for this project, which will be based on European innovation, ambitious trade agreements, investments in infrastructure and a strong social economy in the market, it said.
