The President of the Hellenic Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou referred to the excellent Greek-US relations during her meeting with the mayor of New York, Eric Adams, on Thursday, ANA reports.
During the meeting at the Presidential Mansion, in the presence of Athens Mayor Kostas Bakoyannis, Sakellaropoulou expressed her satisfaction over the progress and the achievements of the Greeks in the USA, which constitute a steady link between the two countries.
She also pointed out that in a period when antisemitism was constantly growing, “it is our moral duty to every day turn the memory into action.”
