Researchers use drone to measure black carbon in Cyprus capital of Nicosia

Unmanned Systems Research Laboratory (USRL) researchers of the Cyprus Institute performed an intensive drone campaign last January, to measure the concentration of black carbon (BC) emitted in the Nicosia urban area, CNA reports.

The campaign was organized at Athalassa Park in Nicosia, aiming to capture the vertical dispersion of pollution, from the surface up to an altitude of 1,000 meters, according to an announcement by the Institute.
