In the heart of the city, in the central square of Chania, and specifically at 1866, the Municipality’s tourist Info Kiosk operates, a modern “information portal” that serves hundreds of visitors daily.
The staff, two municipal executives, welcome travelers from every corner of the world with a smile and a welcoming attitude every day, answering every question – from KTEL routes and visitable archaeological sites, to hidden beaches and cultural events.
Speaking to Tornos News, they noted that for foreign visitors, the Info Kiosk is a real “guide” that makes their tour of the city easier and richer in experiences. As the people who staff it emphasize, its existence is vital for the tourist image of Chania and Crete as a whole.
With a friendly attitude and accurate information, the Info Kiosk is not just a service point; it is a living ambassador of the culture, history and hospitality of the place.
