Greek Ministers to attend 17th Capital Link Forum

A major international Forum on Investing in Greece is taking place for the 17th year in New York City on Monday, December 14th, 2015, in cooperation with the New York Stock Exchange and major global banks at the Metropolitan Club

The Forum will be attended by Greek Government Ministers Elena Kountoura, Alternate Minister of Tourism, Speaker on Tourism & Hospitality and Dimitris Mardas, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Speaker on Investing.

Developments and outlook of the Greek Economy as well as business and investment opportunities in the country will be discussed and the audience will be provided with a special blend of informational and networking opportunities.

Panel discussion

Ms Kountoura will take part in a panel discussion on “Investment Opportunities in Tourism & Hospitality” while Mr Mardas has been invited to give a keynote address while the forum will also include webcast messages by Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and George Stathakis, Minister of Economy, Development and Tourism.

The ministers will attend the celebration of Greek Day at the New York Stock Exchange on Tuesday, December 15 and, following a reception, the Greek delegation will ring the Closing Bell at the NYSE.

While in New York, the ministers will come in contact with key players in the field of business and tourism as well as representatives of US and Diaspora media and will also attend a scheduled meeting with Archbishop Demetrios of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America.
