The 38th River Party – Greece’s longest running outdoor camping and music festival – opens its gates on the banks of the Aliakmonas River on Wednesday in Nestorio, Kastoria. The festival spans five days, from August 3-7, featuring Greek and foreign bands, riverside games, exploration and hiking in the forests of Grammos.
The festival line-up features some of the biggest names in Greek music and the Swiss band Kadebostany from abroad. The beautiful location and rich programme of activities mades the River Party a must-do destination for the summer, with more than 50,000 visitors each year.
