NHSA’s Convention unites university students of Greek origin in America

With a common goal to unite university students of Greek heritage via education, professional networking and community involvement, the National Hellenic Student Association (NHSA) of North America has announced their semi-annual convention dates and location.

The nonprofit organization attracts many young professionals as well as students of all levels of higher education who are active in their schools’ Hellenic societies as it is a wonderful platform for individuals to network new opportunities, attend workshops as well as discuss prominent social issues. In the past, hundreds from the diaspora have attended the event.

This year the event will be taking place at Boston University, MA from November 4-6 where speakers will discuss the following topics:

  • Migration Crisis
  • Human Rights Violations (Turkey)
  • Geostrategic position of Greece & Cyprus
  • Leadership: Trials & Tribulations
  • Boston Marathon Bombing
  • Networking & Career Building
