The city center of Athens will be full of Santa Claus-dressed runners on Sunday, as the third annual “Athens Santa Run” is scheduled to kick off.
The race, which is also carried out in many international cities, put a festive twist on charity, with all profits going towards the Pediatric Trauma Care charity and the Reception and Solidarity Center of the Municipality of Athens.
Due to the run, traffic on main roads in the city center will be restricted between 10:00 and 13:00, with the Traffic Police urging drivers to avoid the center between these times.
