The 6th Athens Half Marathon, the city’s annual major spring sports event, will be held on Sunday 19 March. Registered participants have already exceeded 21,000.
The start of the Half Marathon and the 5km race will be at Syntagma square at 09:00. A 3.0 km race and a 1.0 km race for children and people with disabilities are also included in the programme.
The finishing line for athletes in all three races will be on Amalias Avenue, in front of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the Greek Parliament.
