The 2017 National Mountain Running Championship of Greek track and field federation SEGAS will take place this year at Kritsa in eastern Crete on June 4.
In only the second time the event has visited Crete (the first was in 1983), the run will start and finish at the central square of the traditional mountain village of Kritsa, near Aghios Nikolaos.
The event, organized by the Culture and Sports Department of the City of Aghios Nikolaos, will include a 16-kilometer race for men and women, an 8-km race for teenagers, and a 1,000-meter race for children.
