For the second year in a row, the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation, in cooperation with the City of Agia Paraskevi, organizes a special “musical summer “, as an added reward for the citizens who finance and support the presence and operation of public broadcasting.
On every night from Monday, July 3 to Friday, July 21, ERT opens its gates to the audience with free admission to the festivities, daily presenting concerts of all musical genres. Gates open at 8:30 each night, and concerts start at 9 pm.
Among the artists featured are: Panos Katsimihas (July 3), Manolis Lidakis (July 6), a group of Kurdish refugees playing with Haig Yazidjan, Kalliopi Vetta and M. C. Yinka (July 7), the ERT Orchestra of Contemporary Music (July 8), Glykeria (July 10), Giorgos Margaritis (July 14), TANGartO and De Todas Formas (July 18), and others.
Making for beautiful, cool musical nights, travels through lyrics and notes, all starting from the ERT garden. Rising bands who participated in this year’s successful “YourBand@ert” program will be opening for several of the featured musical acts.
Those who cannot attend in person will have the opportunity to enjoy the music program on ERT’s “Deftero Programma”, the “Voice of Greece” and online.
