Greek site ekathimerini.com reports that Iris Kritikou has curated a group show at the Ianos bookstore’s gallery that, as its title suggests, is inspired by “Summer in Athens.”
The paintings and photographs on exhibition explore the nooks and crannies of downtown neighborhoods like Metaxourgeio and Thiseio, dive into the sea at Flisvos, relax at a taverna, catch a movie at an open-air cinema and celebrate other such quintessentially Athenian experiences. Opening hours are Mondays to Fridays from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
