The events for the 2nd international choir competition and festival opened at noon on Wednesday in the southern Greek city of Kalamata.
Fifty-two choirs from 15 countries will participate in the event that it co-organised by the municipality of Kalamata and the cultural organisation Interkultur.
The grand prize competition will take place on Saturday and the awards and closing ceremony will take place on Sunday.
