A Cretan cultural group wearing traditional costumes sang Greek Christmas carols and danced at the ministry of Tourism on Friday, to celebrate the holiday season, ANA reports.
In comments to the Athens-Macedonian News Agency (ANA), Kountoura said that the efforts of 2018 would focus on turning Greece into a globally attractive destination for holidays and investments. In addition, the ministry’s goal was to extend the tourist season. She added the ministry’s campaign on this was already bringing results, as the numbers of foreign tourists visiting winter resorts in the country had risen.
