New performance of “The Seagull” premieres in Athens on April 12

“Chroma” theater group and director Konstantinos Chatzis present Anton Chekhov’ emblematic play, “The Seagull,” originally presented in Greece at the Karolos Koun Art Theater in Athens by the Moscow Art Theater, featuring a unique ensemble cast, which brought to life the story of failed romances between Masha, Nina, Trigorin, Arkadina, the doctor Yevgeny Dorn, and Polina. Chroma and Chatzis’s performance will be held on April 12, with the director and Giannis Chartodiplomenos adapting the play, as translated from Russian by the latter.

The performance will feature Roumpini Vassilakopoulou, Kleon Grigoriadis, Thanassis Dimou, Gina Thliveri, Magda Lada, Nikolas Makris, Ilektra Nikolouzou, Giorgos Papapavlou, Enke Fezolari, as well as Giannis Chartodiplomenos.
