A dramatic depiction of the Greek War of Independence will be screened in Brisbane, Australia ahead of this year’s Greek Independence Day celebrations.
The Elizabeth Picture Theatre is to screen 2017’s ‘Exodus 1826: A Road of No Return’ which dramatizes the Siege of Missolonghi, a pivotal point in Greece’s heroic fight for independence against the Ottoman Empire.
The subtitled screening will be held on Sunday, March 18 at 4.30 p.m. Exodus 1826 (Greek-language trailer)
