Internationally acclaimed violinist Leonidas Kavakos -recently awarded the 2017 Léonie Sonning Prize, one of the most important awards internationally- will be holding the 2018 International Violin & Chamber Music Seminar at the Music Horizons Conservatory. Held in Greece for a seventh consecutive year, and including participants from all over the world, this most important musical event of the year draws audiences from all over, and is organized by the Music Horizons Conservatory. It will take place at the building of the Athens Academy (28, Panepistimiou, Athens), on March 30-April 1.
During recent years, excellent young musicians from Greece and many other countries, including, among others, Japan, America, Canada, Australia, England, Korea, China, Italy, Spain, France, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Norway, Armenia, Mexico, and Belgium.
The 3-day seminar is a special experience for both the participants and the audience.
After years of successful organization in Greece, the extremely positive reception with which the Seminar was met, has made it an established event in the international music scene.

On the days of the Seminar tickets will be sold at the Athens Academy.
