The American Hellenic Council has released details of its 2018 annual awards gala to take place on March 31 in Los Angeles.
The gala is the hallmark event of the year for the Greek-American community in southern California, bringing together hundreds of the most exceptional Greek and Cypriot Americans.
LA’s Omni Hotel will host the awards, now in their 44th year, which will also honor three people who have made an important contribution to the community: President and CEO of Earth Friendly Products, Kelly Vlahakis-Hanks; world-renowned archaeologist, Stavros Niarchos Foundation Professor of Classics, and Director of the Athenian Agora, American School of Classical Studies at Athens, Prof. John Camp; and Real Estate Developer, political activist, and philanthropist, Aris Anagnos.
