Posidonia shipping exhibition opens its doors on Monday at the Metropolitan Expo center, at the Athens International Airport, ANA reports.
At a press conference held to present the trade fair by organizers, Greek Shipping Minister Panagiotis Kouroumblis said that Posidonia reflects the growth of Greek shipping.
The port of Piraeus is growing fast, taking position number 38 out of 96 ports worldwide while in the last three years, more than 300 shipping companies have set up in Piraeus, and in total today, more than 1,400 shipping and freight forwarding companies operate from the port.
