Three exhibitions that portray Leonardo da Vinci’s life and work, unite in a major event honoring the greatest mind of all time, 500 years after his death.
“Leonardo Da Vinci – 500 Years of Genius”, organized by the events production company Lavris who brought the interactive exhibition “Van Gogh Alive – The Experience”, in cooperation with Grande Exhibitions at the OSY Old Bus Depot from November 30, 2018 until March 30, 2019.
The first exhibition is devoted to Da Vinci’s mechanical inventions and features 75 models, reproductions, interactive machines and over 200 exhibits designed in collaboration with the Leonardo da Vinci Museum in Rome.
The exhibition, divided into 17 thematic sections, will present visitors with the opportunity to discover the life and work of the ultimate Homo Universalis, the man who laid the foundations for some of the most important inventions of mankind such as airplane, car, submarine, parachute and bicycle.
The second part titled “Da Vinci Alive – The Experience” is an audio-visual, experience that presents the life and work of the charismatic artist and inventor.
“The Secrets of Mona Lisa” are revealed for the first time by Pascal Cotte of the Lumiere Technology Institute, who will present a detailed scientific analysis of this enigmatic painting.
