The third EU-Arab World Summit that will focus on efforts to improve existing cooperation and improve the cooperation between the EU and the Arab world will take place in the Greek capital, Athens, on October 29 and 30.
The event will be hosted by the Greek Prime Minister, Alexis Tsipras while the leaders of Bulgaria, Cyprus, Palestine, and Djibouti have already confirmed their attendance.
Invitations have been sent to the leaders of Libya, Iraq, Lebanon, Sudan, Romania, and Serbia as well.
The European Commissioner for Migration Dimitris Avramopoulos along with the chief EU spokesman Margaritis Schinas, Malta’s Foreign Minister Carmelo Abela and Egypt’s Minister of Trade Amr Nassar are scheduled to address the summit.
