Traffic restrictions will gradually go into effect from Friday morning as the city prepares for the 36th Athens Marathon scheduled to take place on Sunday November 11, ANA reports.
Main roads near the starting point at the Panathenaic Stadium (Kallimarmaro) will be closed for most of the weekend while, on Sunday, traffic will be restricted on many roads along the route of the Marathon.
